Agile Lab, based in Rome, is seeking a Junior Application Maintenance Engineer – SRE I to support production services with Azure data platforms. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and assist with deployments under growing autonomy, collaborating with developers, senior SREs, and operations.

The role emphasizes first-level support, log analysis, and documentation while working on OpenShift and Kafka in a modern data environment. Competitive base salary in Italy with training and growth tracks.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
• At least 6 months in Application Maintenance, technical support, or production operations.

Mansioni

• Provide first-level technical support for Azure Synapse, SQL Pool, Data Pipeline Ingestion, Data Fabric, and Azure Functions.
• Monitor Azure-based systems and analyse logs, metrics, alerts, and service behaviour to identify issues.
• Assist with troubleshooting and incident resolution with seniors when needed.
• Support OpenShift operations and basic troubleshooting for OpenShift deployments.
• Investigate Kafka-based systems and coordinate with senior engineers as needed.
• Assist deployments from development to production with controlled releases.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
