Job summary

Baker Hughes in Italy seeks a Junior Sourcing Professional - Buying/Procurement to manage delivery of materials and certificates, monitor production plans, and coordinate logistics until systems receive. You will ensure On Time Delivery and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, is fluent in Italian and English, willing to travel up to 20%, and proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, or MBA.
• Demonstrate the ability to quickly adapt to learn and consolidate new products and managed commodities.
• Maintain workload management in a high-pressure environment, organizing and prioritizing tasks.
• Strong teamwork, motivation, and effective communication.
• Willing to travel regionally and internationally up to 20%.
• Fluent in Italian and English and hold an EU passport.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of materials and certificates for assigned suppliers and coordinate logistics until system receipt.
• Provide visibility to internal customers on supplier plans and prioritize to ensure On Time Delivery.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time documentation for materials supplied.
• Interact with Procurement Platform and units to report supplier performance and refine strategies.
• Partner with Quality to support supplier surveillance and on-time issue resolution.
• Cooperate with Logistics to minimize costs and improve efficiency; support vendor recovery and AP resolution.
• Contribute to procurement initiatives through continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
