Eight Sleep, Inc. is seeking a hungry, proactive design graduate to join the Design team and ship real work from day one. You will design, test, and iterate on features used by members in over 30 countries, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Marketing.

You’ll work from Milan with occasional travel to San Francisco and New York, using AI tools to move faster and craft elegant user experiences. The role emphasizes simplicity, high aesthetics, and a craft mindset in a fast-paced startup

Qualifications

Strong UX/UI portfolio with mobile work is required.
Evidence of initiative in projects or redesigns.
English fluency is mandatory.
Experience presenting designs to real users preferred.
Obsession with simplicity and aesthetics.
Able to iterate quickly and handle ambiguity and feedback.
Able to discuss technical implications with engineers.
Recent graduate or current student in design school.

Responsibilities

Design end-to-end for the Eight Sleep app, from IA and wireframes to high-fidelity mockups.
Support usability studies and interviews; measure design effectiveness with data.
Iterate using qualitative and quantitative insights to improve app experience and engagement.
Build and maintain UI components for design system for consistency across the brand.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Marketing to ship features that support hardware innovations.
Stay updated on mobile design trends and best practices; bring ideas back to the team.
Use AI tools to prototype faster and shape AI-powered app features.
