Job summary

Leonardo Space Division, in collaboration with Telespazio, seeks a Legal Counsel in Rome to support commercial transactions in aerospace and defense. You will draft, review and negotiate contracts, tender documents and intercompany agreements, liaising with internal teams and external advisers.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Law with 1–3 years PQE, excellent English, and a proactive, multitasking mindset.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Law
• 1-3 years’ PQE in a law firm or in-house legal department; aerospace/defense sector preferred
• Excellent knowledge of English; second language (French, Spanish) helpful
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple activities
• Interpersonal and teamwork skills; problem-solving mindset

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and assistance in drafting and negotiation of all kinds of commercial contracts, including tenders and intercompany agreements
• Provide legal assistance to business units regarding procurement, tenders and contractual documentation
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external advisers on day-to-day legal matters
