Ramboll Italy seeks a Junior Engineering Geologist to join its collaborative Site Solutions team in Italy/Spain. The role focuses on geotechnical site assessment, due diligence in M&A, and soil/groundwater investigations, delivering designs, plans, and underground structures while collaborating across projects.

You will support site investigations, risk assessments, and cost estimates, contributing to client presentations and reports in a multicultural environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Geology or Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required; Master's degree strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of geotechnical software, incl. Geo Studio (Slope/W, Seep/W) or similar.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Some working experience in a design environment is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and attention to detail with ability to work independently or in a team.
• Reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits; valid driver's license.

Mansioni

• Organising and supervising Site Investigation.
• Contributing to engineering risk assessments, technical documents, and calculations.
• Contributing to technical due diligence, soil risk assessment, and risk mitigation.
• Assisting a wide range of geotechnical design work, fully compliant with Eurocodes.
• Assisting in the preparation of expressions of interest and tenders, including cost estimates.
• Development and technical assurance of design, including client’s presentations and reports.
