Job summary

TeamSystem is seeking developers to translate complex financial requirements into robust software solutions in a hybrid Italy-based team. The role covers backend services, APIs, and frontend features using modern web tech, with a strong emphasis on scalable payments and fintech products.

You’ll collaborate across the lifecycle from analysis to deployment, contributing to modernization and migration of legacy systems while growing technical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2/3 years of enterprise app development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent knowledge of OOP languages and frameworks: Java Spring or .NET (C#).
• Experience building modern UIs with React, Vue, or Angular.
• Strong database skills: relational DB design, data modelling, and query optimisation.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, code review, automated testing, and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development practices.
• Advanced English (C1).
• Exposure to Python frameworks, cloud, containerization, and payments/fintech sectors beneficial.

In particular, you will: Develop and maintain backend services and APIs, ensuring code quality, performance, and reliability; Build and enhance frontend features using modern web technologies, contributing primarily to new products and functionalities; Support the evolution of existing applications, helping modernize and migrate legacy systems toward more scalable and maintainable solutions; Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and production support.

What skills are we looking for? At least 2/3 years of experience developing applications in enterprise environments Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Excellent knowledge of OOP languages and frameworks: Java Spring or .NET (C#); Experience building modern user interfaces with frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular; Strong database skills: relational database design, data modelling, and query optimisation; Familiarity with structured development practices: version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, code review, automated testing, and Agile methodologies; Familiarity with AI-assisted development practices; Advanced proficiency in English (C1 level); Exposure to Python frameworks, cloud technologies, containerization, Agile ways of working, and an interest in the payments, fintech, or credit sectors will be considered a plus.
