Job summary

Ramboll in Milano seeks a Junior Consultant to join our Environment and Health team. You will support EHS due diligence, ESG screening and compliance audits within an M&A–focused context, contributing to sustainability assessments and strategy development.

The role provides exposure to cross‑functional projects, direct client interaction, and opportunities to develop in a collaborative, international environment. Fluency in Italian and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Master level university degree in environmental science, earth sciences, environmental engineering or similar.
• Minimum 2/3 years of relevant experience in EHS Due Diligence and/or compliance audits.
• Knowledge of Italian & English; a third language is a plus.
• Knowledge of decommissioning activities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execution of Environmental and/or Health and Safety Due Diligence.
• Execution of ESG screening.
• Execution of EHS compliance audits.
• Direct interaction with Clients and third parties (e.g. lawyers, advisors, vendor/buyer, regulators) and use of strong communication, negotiation and teamwork skills.
• Proposal and reporting in Italian and English.
