Job summary

Ramboll in Italy is seeking a Senior EHS Consultant to support Environmental, Health & Safety due diligence and compliance projects for private equity, corporate and financial clients across diverse industries. You will work closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to assess EHS risks and communicate findings to clients and stakeholders.

The role requires solid knowledge of Italian environmental and occupational health & safety legislation, plus the ability to identify risks,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant environmental or health & safety field.
• At least 5 years of professional EHS consulting experience.
• Experience conducting EHS due diligence and audits.
• Sound knowledge of Italian environmental and occupational health & safety legislation (e.g., Decrees 152/2006, 81/2008).
• Experience in M&A or transaction advisory environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Environmental, Health & Safety due diligence assessments for transactions.
• Perform EHS compliance audits and site assessments across facilities.
• Review environmental permitting and regulatory obligations.
• Evaluate OH&S programs, risk assessments and contractor management.
• Identify and prioritize EHS risks and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare technical reports and client deliverables in Italian and English.
• Participate in site visits, meetings and interactions with stakeholders.
• Contribute to team development and business development.
