We are looking for a brilliant Junior Composite R&D Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for releasing plybooks, lamination digital information and repair scheme of the assigned car parts towards production and track operations. You will define car part lay-up for carbon component manufacturing in compliance with interna rules, procedures and processes.
Ensure a strong communication flow regarding design, materials, number and orientation of plies, inserts, cores, cure cycles, and manufacturing processes.
Develop 3D and 2D ply layups using NX CAD and its composite design tools, including Fibersim, Laminate Tools, and Composite Design.
Define the appropriate cure cycles and debulking procedures for the production of automotive components, in collaboration with the R&D Composite Technology Group.
Prepare, compile, and release plybooks for production.
Liaise effectively with internal departments—including Design, Production, and Quality Control—as well as external suppliers.
Complete assigned tasks and provide timely feedback on work status, progress, and milestone achievement whenever required.
Always working in a professional manner regardless of the task set and be pro‑active in promoting a positive image for the department/team/sponsors;
Providing flexible attendance and attitude to work both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of the projects.

In line with pay transparency regulations (Legislative Decree 96/2026), the minimum fixed salary for this role is the contractual minimum set by the National Collective Labour Agreement for the Metalworking Industry (Federmeccanica/Assistal) for classification level C3. We specify that the above mentioned level is a minimum threshold and does not correspond to the overall compensation package, which is determined by objective, measurable and gender‑neutral criteria, being significantly higher than the contractual minimum indicated.
