Job summary

Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team is seeking a Junior Composite R&D Engineer to release plybooks and manage lamination data for production and track operations. You will define lay‑ups for carbon components in line with internal procedures and collaborate with the R&D Composite Technology Group.

You will develop 3D/2D ply layups using NX CAD and Fibersim/Laminate Tools, determine cure cycles, and prepare plybooks for production, working with Design, Production and Quality Control teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, preferably Materials Science, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of software tools used to prepare and compile plybooks, such as CorelDRAW.
• Basic knowledge of ply draping and layup simulation tools, preferably Fibersim and Laminate Tools.
• Basic knowledge of CAD systems, preferably Siemens NX.
• Good understanding of composite design and manufacturing processes, particularly those involving prepreg materials.
• Proactive and innovative mindset.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills in both Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Release plybooks, laminate information and repair schemes for production and track operations.
• Define car part lay‑ups for carbon components in compliance with internal rules and processes.
• Develop 3D/2D ply layups using NX CAD and composites tools (Fibersim, Laminate Tools).
• Define cure cycles and debulking procedures in collaboration with R&D Composite Technology Group.
• Prepare, compile and release plybooks for production.
• Liaise with Design, Production, and Quality Control and with external suppliers.
• Provide timely feedback on status, progress and milestones.
