Job summary

meteocontrol in Lombardy, Italy, invites students or graduates in Electrical, Electronics, Automation or Renewable Energy Engineering to join a hands-on internship with our EU South technical team. You will assist commissioning and PLC engineers, contribute to functional tests, and help configure data loggers and monitoring systems for photovoltaic plants.

You will coordinate with customers, prepare test reports and diagrams, and gain practical experience while developing PLC programming skills.

Qualifications

• Studying or have completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a comparable degree program
• Strong interest in renewable energies
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of control engineering and power systems
• Interest in developing PLC programming skills
• Willingness to develop device configuration and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Fluent in Italian and good English skills

• Support the EU South technical team and help shape the future of renewable energies
• Assist commissioning and PLC engineers in daily activities leveraging their expertise

Profile

• You are currently studying or have completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a comparable degree program
• You are driven by a strong interest in renewable energies
• You have an analytical mindset and enjoy solving technical problems
• You have basic knowledge of control engineering and power systems
• You enjoy programming and are interested in developing your PLC programming skills
• You are eager to develop your skills in device configuration and troubleshooting
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• You are fluent in Italien and have good English skills
