Job summary

meteocontrol invites motivated students to join our EU South technical team to gain hands-on experience in renewable energies. You will support commissioning and PLC engineers, perform functional tests, and help configure data loggers and monitoring systems for photovoltaic plants.

We value problem-solving, a passion for renewables, and collaboration with customers. The role offers flexible home office and working time models, with fluency in Italian and good English required.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently completed Electrical/ Electronics/ Automation/ Renewable Energy Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong interest in renewable energies.
• Analytical mindset and problem solving.
• Basic knowledge of control engineering and power systems.
• Interest in PLC programming and developing PLC skills.
• Willing to develop device configuration and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in Italian and good English.

Responsibilities

• Support EU South technical team and contribute to our renewable energy projects.
• Assist commissioning & PLC engineers in daily activities with their guidance.
• Perform functional testing and PLC programming as core responsibilities.
• Assist configuration and commissioning of data loggers, devices, and monitoring systems for PV plants.
• Coordinate project requirements with customers and stakeholders.
• Help prepare and maintain plant documentation like test reports and circuit diagrams.
• Coordinate commissioning appointments to ensure smooth execution.
