Job summary

meteocontrol GmbH in Milano is seeking a motivated student or graduate in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Renewable Energy to join our EU South technical team. You will support commissioning and PLC engineers, perform functional testing, and help configure data loggers and monitoring systems for photovoltaic plants.

You will coordinate with customers, prepare test reports and diagrams, and develop PLC programming skills while gaining hands-on experience in renewable energy projects.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or have completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a comparable degree program.
• Driven by a strong interest in renewable energies.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic knowledge of control engineering and power systems.
• Enjoy programming and developing PLC skills.
• Willing to develop skills in device configuration and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent in Italian and good English skills.

Responsibilities

• Support our EU South technical team and contribute to shaping the future of renewable energies.
• Support commissioning and PLC engineers in daily activities with their expertise.
• Functional testing and PLC programming will be core responsibilities.
• Assist in configuring and commissioning data loggers, communication devices, and monitoring systems for photovoltaic plants.
• Coordinate project requirements with customers and stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain plant documentation, test reports, protocols, and circuit diagrams.
• Coordinate commissioning appointments to ensure smooth operation.
