Job summary

Arup is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer in Italy to support the design and delivery of road, utility and drainage schemes. You will contribute to site layouts, drainage strategies and earthworks, working within multidisciplinary teams across infrastructure projects including energy and urban development.

You will develop technical drawings, calculations and reports, coordinating with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and BIM disciplines, while applying Civil 3D, MicroDrainage and

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years experience with Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Interest in digital design, BIM and automation within engineering delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and coordination of roads, water-supply systems, fire-water networks, foul sewers, surface-water drainage and dry utility networks, from concept through to detailed design.
• Prepare and support the delivery of road, utility and drainage design packages for major developments.
• Contribute to technical drawings, calculations, models and reports.
• Coordinate interfaces across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and BIM disciplines.
• Help identify and resolve utility conflicts, design constraints and coordination issues.
