Position

Buyer Specialist - fixed contract

The Buyer Specialist will be responsible for respecting the project schedule, managing procurement, and for all activities related to supply chain management.

Responsibilities
  • Implement the QMS in the area of responsibility
  • Shared responsibility for respecting the project budget, product cost, and tooling cost
  • Define the Supply Chain for new components, sub-assemblies, or complete products
  • Responsible for the cost of new components, sub-assemblies, or complete products purchased, as well as the cost of the necessary tooling
  • Responsible for respecting the project schedule (delivery of components) during the various project phases
  • Prepare Project Purchasing documentation
  • Select suppliers in a global multi-functional environment (Purchasing, Quality, Procurement, R&D) in line with the Global Strategy
  • Ensure the qualification of new suppliers via the Hill-Rom certification process
  • Involve in supplier projects at an early stage (ESI) to bring supplier technical expertise during development of Videomed products
  • Establish and implement energy performance assessment criteria in contract negotiations for energy-using products, equipment and services
  • Inform suppliers that energy performance is an evaluation criterion for purchases with significant energy use

  • Proven ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Responsible for part in the Supplier Quality Lifecycle Management
