Job summary

Prysmian Purchasing is seeking an intern to join as a Junior Buyer in the Base Metals team in Milano. You will support inbound supply chain management for aluminium and copper rod across Europe plants, under supervision.

The role requires an engineering or economics degree (or three-year), strong Excel skills, knowledge of SAP a plus, and fluent English. Analytical, precise work style is valued in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Engineering or economics degree (bachelor or three-year)
• Analytical mindset with high accuracy and organization
• Fluent English in speaking and writing
• Familiarity with SAP and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Support inbound SCM of aluminium and copper rod across Europe plants.
• Manage admin cycle: call off, SAP orders, variations/extras, data updates.
• Expedite suppliers ensuring alignment with plants
