Job summary

Leonardo is seeking a Flight Management Engineer for the Avionic Systems Development area in Italy. You will analyze avionic system requirements and define subsystem software for embedded, real-time, safety-critical applications on the Flight Management System for Leonardo Helicopters.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, coordinate development and verification activities, interface with suppliers, and participate in certification activities under DO-178/DO-254 guidelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Knowledge of real-time safety-critical embedded software development.
• Familiarity with DO-178/DO-254 and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze avionic system requirements and define SW subsystems.
• Collaborate with development team to identify design solutions within constraints.
• Coordinate development and verification activities across teams and suppliers.
