TXT Group invites applications for a 6-month extracurricular internship in its Aerospace & Defence division, TXT e-Tech, aimed at potential employment upon successful completion. The role centers on developing flight dynamics models for helicopter and fixed-wing simulations within a Training and Simulation environment, with projects across international offices.

You will work in a team responsible for flight dynamics, model validation, and documentation, collaborating with Pilots and Aircraft

Competenze

• Knowledge of mechanics and flight dynamics principles.
• Experience with Matlab and/or Simulink.
• Knowledge of technical documentation preparation.
• Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken (minimum B2 level).

Mansioni

• Develop/operate models for rotary-wing and fixed-wing aircraft using Matlab/Simulink or C++.

TXT Group is looking for a Junior Aeronautical Engineer to join the Aerospace & Defence division of TXT e-Tech, a TXT Group company, for a 6-month extracurricular internship aimed at potential employment within the company, as part of our Training and Simulation environment, for a new and innovative project.

The candidate will join the Training and Simulation business unit, as part of a team involved in the development, customization, and validation of flight dynamics models.

The activity is focused on the development of Flight Simulation Training Devices, primarily for helicopters and also for fixed-wing aircraft.

The internship represents a professional training and development opportunity, with the goal of evaluating potential employment within the company at the end of the internship, based on the skills acquired, results achieved, and organizational needs.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop/operate on models for rotary-wing and fixed-wing aircraft (flight dynamics, rotor, engine, onboard systems, etc.) using Matlab/Simulink or C++;
• Analyze flight test data for the selection of validation data and the identification of aircraft characteristics;
• Support and manage the certification process for a flight simulation training device, based on international regulations;
• Prepare the technical documentation required to support the simulator qualification process;
• Interact with Pilots and Aircraft Specialists to collect the data and information required to accurately simulate aircraft behavior.

Technical Skills Required:

• Knowledge of mechanics and flight dynamics principles;
• Experience with Matlab and/or Simulink;
• Knowledge of technical documentation preparation;
• Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken (minimum B2 level).
