TXT E-Tech S.r.l., part of the TXT Group, seeks a Test Engineer to join the Aerospace & Defence division in an extracurricular internship. You will participate in Software Integration, Verification and Validation for safety-critical avionics systems and receive training as a Test Engineer to develop tests and automation to meet aeronautical standards.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or Computer Engineering/CS.
• Solid understanding of avionics principles and safety-critical embedded systems.
• Experience with test engineering concepts and automation is a plus.

Mansioni

TXT E-Tech S.r.l., part of the TXT Group, is looking for a Test Engineer to join its Aerospace & Defence division. A key aspect of this role is participating in Software Integration, Verification, and Validation (IV&V) activities for safety-critical avionics systems in the Aerospace & Defence sector. The selected candidate will be trained as a Test Engineer and will be involved in developing test cases and automation solutions to ensure compliance with aeronautical certification standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integration and unit test cases for safety-critical embedded systems;
• Develop automated test sequences using C/C++ or Simulink;
• Participate in software integration activities;
• Prepare technical documentation;
• Analyze flight test and test rig results for aeronautical certification purposes.

Required Skills

• Understanding of the operating principles of avionics systems.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Knowledge of at least one structured programming language, such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Visual Basic, Ada95, or similar;
• Familiarity with real-time embedded systems.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or Computer Engineering/Computer Science.
