TXT GROUP in Lombardia, Italy seeks a motivated intern to contribute to the development and verification of safety-critical embedded software for aerospace applications. You will support DO-178C document preparation and updates to software requirements within change control processes.

The role covers requirements analysis, test development, and verification activities, with focus on obtaining certification artifacts and reuse opportunities.

Competenze

• Basic knowledge of software development for real-time embedded systems.
• Interest in embedded software architectures and low-level firmware.
• Proficiency in at least one structured programming language (C, C++, or Python).

Mansioni

• Contribute to the development and verification of safety-critical embedded software for aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and verification of safety-critical embedded software for aerospace applications.
• Support the preparation of DO-178C certification documentation (Software Development Plans, Software Verification Plans, Software Requirements and Traceability Matrices).

Requirements

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of software development for real-time embedded systems.
• Interest in embedded software architectures and low-level firmware.
• Proficiency in at least one structured programming language (preferably C, C++, or Python).

Preferred Technical Skills

• Experience with debugging on embedded platforms.
• Experience (also basic) with embedded platform architectures, e.g. : Intel® Tiger Lake x86/64-bit processor, NXP Layerscape, Xilinx Zynq, Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC or others
• Familiarity with cryptography and security concepts for embedded systems.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Good command of written and spoken English for technical documentation and reporting.
