Target Reply Milano-Torino is seeking a Junior Software Developer to grow in an innovative data and technology environment, applying your academic knowledge to real-world enterprise applications and microservices.

You will collaborate with design and development teams, build scalable microservices with SpringBoot, design RESTful APIs, and contribute to data-driven solutions. A degree in Engineering/CS and Java basics are required; hybrid work with 1-2 days on site in Milan/Turin.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, CS, Statistics, Mathematics, or related data-centric field (min grade 100/110).
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming.
• Familiarity with Java.
• Basic knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Team-oriented mindset.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Junior Software Developer motivated to grow in a innovative environment, developing solid expertise in enterprise application development and microservices architectures.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Collaborate with design and development teams to translate requirements into robust, and high-impact solutions.
• Develop scalable and high-performance microservices-based applications using modern technologies (e.g., SpringBoot).
• Design, develop, and optimize REST APIs to enable seamless communication between distributed services and client applications.
• Contribute to innovation by proposing solutions aligned with the latest trends in Data & Analytics.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other data-centric disciplines is required (minimum grade: 100/110).
• Knowledge of the fundamental concepts of Object-Oriented Programming.
• Familiarity with Java.
• Basic knowledge of the fundamentals of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Team-oriented mindset.

NICE TO HAVE

• No prior work experience is required. Relevant internships or projects will be considered a plus.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and/or Angular.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) will be considered a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, etc.) will be considered a plus.

WHAT WE OFFER

• A concrete recognition of your achievement - The applicable Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) is the Italian Metalworking Industry Agreement. The starting gross annual salary (RAL) will range from €25,000 to €36,000, depending on your academic achievements, technical skills, and any previous professional experience.
