Target Reply, the analytics company within the Reply Group, is seeking a Junior Software Developer to grow in an innovative environment, developing solid expertise in enterprise application development and microservices.

You’ll work on scalable Java applications, REST APIs, and modern data architectures, with mentoring and continuous learning, and a hybrid policy requiring 1–2 days on site in Milan or Turin.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other data‑centric disciplines is required (minimum grade: 100/110).
• Knowledge of Object‑Oriented Programming concepts.
• Familiarity with Java.
• Basic knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Team‑oriented mindset.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with design and development teams to translate requirements into robust, high‑impact solutions.
• Develop scalable and high‑performance microservices‑based applications using modern technologies (e.g., SpringBoot).

DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Junior Software Developer motivated to grow in an innovative environment, developing solid expertise in enterprise application development and microservices architectures.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Collaborate with design and development teams to translate requirements into robust, and high-impact solutions.
• Develop scalable and high‑performance microservices‑based applications using modern technologies (e.g., SpringBoot).
• Design, develop, and optimize REST APIs to enable seamless communication between distributed services and client applications.
• Contribute to innovation by proposing solutions aligned with the latest trends in Data & Analytics.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other data‑centric disciplines is required (minimum grade: 100/110).
• Knowledge of the fundamental concepts of Object‑Oriented Programming.
• Familiarity with Java.
• Basic knowledge of the fundamentals of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Team‑oriented mindset.

NICE TO HAVE

• No prior work experience is required. Relevant internships or projects will be considered a plus.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) will be considered a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, etc.) will be considered a plus.

WHAT WE OFFER

• A concrete recognition of your achievement – The applicable Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) is the Italian Metalworking Industry Agreement. The starting gross annual salary (RAL) will range from €25,000 to €36,000, depending on your academic achievements, technical skills, and any previous professional experience.
