Reply is hiring an AI Strategist to design and deliver Generative AI solutions grounded in real data. You will interview clients, run structured workshops, and translate priorities into concrete AI use cases.

You will define data readiness, model strategy, and collaborate across teams to deploy scalable AI solutions via the Reply Model Factory. We seek 3–8 years of AI strategy experience, strong facilitation skills, and a hands-on approach to datasets, model evaluation, and governance.

WHO WE ARE

Reply specialises in the design and implementation of solutions based on new communication channels and digital media. WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Core activities. You will interview client stakeholders, run structured workshops, and translate business priorities into concrete AI use cases. You will collect functional and technical requirements, assess where relevant data sits and how ready it is for model development, and determine whether a specialized generative model is needed and how it should be developed through the Reply Model Factory across training, pretraining, or post-training paths.
• Tech & Tools Stack. You will work across the lifecycle of specialized Generative AI solutions, from use-case framing and model strategy to dataset definition, experimentation, evaluation, and model adaptation. You will collaborate with teams working on foundation models, pretraining, training, and post-training workflows, evaluation frameworks, cloud environments, and the Reply Model Factory to shape scalable, production-minded AI solutions.
• Team work. You will work closely with client stakeholders, strategists, designers, data scientists, and engineers in cross-functional teams, combining business understanding with technical judgment. We value structured collaboration, clear communication, and continuous learning, including access to the MIT xPRO course Designing and Building AI Products and Services.
• Academic background. We are looking for candidates with a degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Management Engineering, Design, Innovation, or related fields. An interdisciplinary mindset across strategy, technology, and solution design is essential.
• Technical & strategic skills.You should have from 3 to 8 years of proven experience in AI strategy and in the design of AI solutions, especially Generative AI solutions aimed at specialized models. Experience in stakeholder interviews, workshop facilitation, and functional and technical requirements gathering is essential, together with the ability to assess data availability, data quality, and data readiness for training, pretraining, and post-training initiatives through the Reply Model Factory.
• Nice to have. Experience with dataset design, model evaluation, data governance, AI product discovery, or enterprise AI transformation is a plus. Exposure to consulting environments, pre-sales, or the definition of AI roadmaps and adoption plans is also appreciated.
• Soft skills. You should be able to structure ambiguity, ask the right questions, and connect business goals with technical choices. Strong facilitation, synthesis, stakeholder management, and client communication skills are essential, together with curiosity, ownership, and a collaborative mindset.

The compensation package will be determined based on your professional background, technical skills, expertise, and the level of responsibility associated with the role. The collective labour agreement (CCNL) applied is the Italian Metalworking Industry Agreement. The job classification will be assessed starting from level B2, and the gross annual salary (RAL) will range from €37,000 to €65,000. Previous experience with the training, fine-tuning, and optimization of Foundation Models, LLMs, and custom models for specific domains is considered a strong asset, along with hands‑on exposure to cutting‑edge technologies such as Agentic AI, Physical AI, and High Performance Computing.
