Job summary

CATL in Lombardia is seeking a Program Manager with overseas energy storage project experience. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage critical customer engagements, and drive program delivery from initiation through commissioning and after-sales support.

The role requires strong English, solid PM experience (3+ years), and familiarity with ESS, Li-ion battery, and electric power sectors. On-site collaboration with multiple departments is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above.
• Proficient in English and strong written/oral communication.
• At least 3 years of PM experience; overseas work preferred; familiarity with ESS project business and Li-ion battery/Electric Power sectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with overseas energy storage customers and related UK companies; identify needs and explore high-value project opportunities.
• Assist account PM in coordinating and preparing critical meetings; address key issues on the customer side.
• Improve coordination across multiple customer contact windows and manage face-to-face communications.
• Coordinate internal resources with account PMs to define qualification criteria and customer engagement plans.
• Coordinate onsite colleagues from other departments (e.g., SC, AMD) to ensure commissioning and after-sales tasks progress; resolve cross-department issues.
• Establish and lead the program team; drive schedule, quality, cost, and risk management for programs.
• Manage the onsite PM team and provide training to enhance team capabilities.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• 1、Connect with overseas energy storage customers and related companies in UK, build good relationship and identify needs and explore high-value potential project opportunities;
• 2、Assist account PM for coordinating and preparing critical meetings, and coordinating the highlight issues at customer side;
• 3、Enhance the coordination and service for multiple contact windows of customers, and strengthen management of the face-to-face communication with customers;
• 4、Coordinate internal resource, sales team, development team, together with account PMs, to figure out the qualification and customer engagement;
• 5、Coordinate onsite colleagues from other departments, like SC, AMD, to guarantee reasonable progress of commissioning and after-sales tasks of ESS projects, and resolve the problems across multiple departments;
• 6、Establish program team, and initiate the program, lead the team to deliver, and be responsible for the program management of schedule, quality, cost, and risk;
• 7、Manage the onsite PM team, with proper training to improve the capability of the team members.

Requirement:

• Education：Bachelor degree or above；
• Skills：good at communication, with good logic, capable on data analysis and report writing；
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience for PM; Oversea working experience is prior consideration; Be familiar with ESS project business mode and development, priority consideration will be given to 2 years above experience on electric power/utility, ESS, Li-ion battery;
• Language：Proficient in English
