Electra in Milano is seeking an experienced Finance professional to own the general ledger and full statutory accounting cycle for the Italian entity. You will supervise accounting, payroll, taxes, and intercompany processes, while guiding month‑end and year‑end closes and coordinating with external auditors.

The role requires strong analytical skills, fluency in Italian and English, and experience with SAP.

Formación

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably with audit exposure.
• Solid knowledge of Italian accounting standards and tax rules (VAT, IRAP, Intrastat).
• Strong analytical skills, rigorous, and able to work in a multi‑company environment.
• Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with colleagues, external consultants and other functions.
• Proficient with Excel and Google Sheets; ERP experience (SAP) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Own the general ledger and full statutory accounting cycle for Electra Italy.
• Supervise general and subsidiary accounting including payroll, fixed assets, taxes and VAT.
• Manage AP, AR, intercompany, accruals and cost accounting; review cost accounting axes.
• Handle subsidiary accounting tasks such as customer collections and supplier balance justification.
• Act as backup for the AP accountant; ensure day‑to‑day continuity.
• Lead monthly and annual closing, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and audit readiness.
• Strengthen group closing processes; manage calendars and task completion.
• Prepare cut‑offs, prepaid and accrued expenses; Italy HQ reporting bases.
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements with external consultants.
• Support monthly management reporting, capex reporting and variance analysis.
• Oversee VAT compliance, file VAT returns, and supervise related taxes (IRAP, Intrastat).
• Coordinate documentation for cash‑recovery programs (VAT refunds).
• Support financial audits with external auditors.
• Run monthly sanity checks on high‑impact costs and rent invoices.
• Act as local power user on SAP Payflows; support bug tracking and documentation.
