Job summary

Human Technopole in Milan seeks a G/L & Statutory Specialist to support general ledger, fixed assets and inventory accounting with autonomy. You will align with Italian GAAP (OIC) and tax regulations, maintain SAP registers and collaborate with Finance teams to ensure accurate statutory financial statements and public reporting.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting, fluency in Italian, and English at B2. The team emphasizes accuracy, autonomy and collaboration with external advisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting and statutory financial statements.
• Solid knowledge of Italian GAAP (OIC) and main Italian tax regs (VAT, withholding taxes).
• Advanced use of SAP (FI/AA) and Excel. English at B2 level or above; fluent Italian.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting activities, daily reconciliations and journal entries with accuracy.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and assist in financial statement prep per Italian GAAP (OIC).
• Manage fixed asset and inventory accounting, depreciation, capitalization and disposals.
• Record payroll transactions and reconcile with HR records; coordinate tax compliance activities.
• Support external audits and tax advisory work with documentation and analyses.
• Contribute to reporting packages for MEF, ISTAT and IPA.
