Airbnb in Milan is seeking an experienced Localization Manager to lead localization strategy for the Italian market, partnering with product, design, marketing and engineering to deliver authentic local experiences across platforms.

You will shape international growth, collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, and supervise the local Copywriter to maintain Airbnb’s tone and quality. Fluency in English and native Italian are essential.

• 8+ years in product localization with ownership of localization strategy in international launches.
• Fluency in English and native knowledge of Italian is required.

• Partner with Country Manager and leads to align localization with Airbnb’s goals for the market.
• Share roadmap and product updates to adapt global strategy to Italian market and feed insights back to leadership.
• Develop strategies to drive international growth with authentic native experiences and stakeholder influence.
• Own localization of Product naming and Creative copies, supervising local Copywriter.
• Coordinate with Consumer Insights and Research to understand international user needs.
• Lead localization quality initiatives across language teams and processes.
• Manage vendor relations and ensure quality metrics and RCAs meet Airbnb standards.
• Collaborate with local teams to develop linguistic standards and guidelines.
• Work with program managers to ship high-quality products internationally.
