FICEP S.p.A. is seeking an IT System Administrator to join the IT team and report to the IT System Manager. The role includes providing helpdesk support via phone, email and chat, and resolving hardware/software issues across PCs and mobile devices.

You will prepare technical documentation for NIS2 and ISO 9001 compliance, manage the telephone system, and maintain security logs, networks, and virtual/physical servers. This is a full-time, on-site position in Lombardy.

Job Description

FICEP S.p.A., a company operating in the metalworking sector, is looking to strengthen its team and is seeking an:

IT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

The successful candidate will join the IT team and report directly to the IT System Manager. The main responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities

• Providing IT systems helpdesk support to internal users via telephone, email and chat.
• Promptly resolving hardware and software issues on personal computers and devices such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ensuring that support requests are handled efficiently, professionally and with the required level of confidentiality.
• Preparing and updating technical documentation related to NIS2 and ISO 9001 requirements, ensuring compliance with deadlines for the relevant authorities and certification bodies (ACN, certification bodies).
• Managing and maintaining the telephone system infrastructure.
• Monitoring system security logs and alerts (firewalls, antivirus) and managing the necessary follow-up actions.
• Managing both wired and wireless network infrastructures, including local and remote networks.
• Providing technical assistance and system support.
• Preparing, configuring and installing PCs, physical and virtual servers, and related software.
• Contributing to infrastructure maintenance, including planned extraordinary maintenance activities that may occasionally be carried out outside normal working hours, as well as regular routine maintenance.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and other tools such as Copilot and Teams.
• Ability to work independently, autonomously and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Server operating systems 2016 and later, including related products.
• Active Directory / GPO.
• VMware ESXi / vSphere.
• Knowledge of networking technologies (VLAN, VPN, TCP/IP, routing).
• Knowledge of Alcatel networking equipment and Alcatel telephone systems.
• Knowledge of Sophos Antivirus and Barracuda firewalls.
• Knowledge of Cisco Wi-Fi access points and equipment.

Position Details

• The role will be office-based, with the possibility of short trips to nearby company locations (within a maximum distance of 10 km).
• Full-time, on-site position from Monday to Friday. Remote working is not available.
• A valid driving licence and own car are required.
• Gross Annual Salary (RAL): €40,000–€45,000, depending on the candidate’s experience and skills.
