Responsibilities

• Supportare il team IS&T Infrastructure sui progetti in corso, con focus sullo sviluppo di una nuova soluzione AI.
• Collaborare con la Global Head of IT Infrastructure su sviluppo, test e miglioramento del modello AI.
• Connettere la soluzione AI a sistemi e fonti dati aziendali (BI, Stealth, Workday, Esker).
• Supportare preparazione, validazione e analisi dei dati per addestrare e testare il modello.
• Testare il modello AI in scenari di business reali per migliorarne accuratezza e rilevanza.
• Esplorare nuove capacità e casi d’uso AI all’interno dell’azienda.
• Documentare sviluppi, risultati dei test e apprendimenti durante il progetto.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure & AI Intern to join our IS&T team based in Novara.

Working closely with the Global Head of IT Infrastructure, the role will be focused on supporting the development and refinement of an internal AI model designed to integrate and access information from different company systems and data sources, including Business Intelligence, Stealth, Workday and Esker.

The role will support the testing and development of the model, helping improve how data can be retrieved, connected and analysed through AI.

This is a good opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain practical experience in AI and data within an international business environment, while working directly on a real internal AI project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the IS&T Infrastructure team across ongoing infrastructure projects and activities, with a primary focus on the development of a new internal AI solution.
• Work closely with the Global Head of IT Infrastructure on the development, testing and continuous improvement of the AI model.
• Contribute to connecting the AI solution with different company systems and data sources, including Business Intelligence, Stealth, Workday and Esker.
• Support data preparation, validation and analysis to help train, test and refine the model.
• Test the AI model across real business scenarios, helping identify opportunities to improve the accuracy and relevance of its outputs.
• Contribute to exploring new AI capabilities and use cases, helping shape how the solution can be applied across different areas of the business.
• Help document key developments, testing results and learnings throughout the project

Key Requirements

• Currently completing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related field.
• Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, data and emerging technologies.
• Basic understanding of IT systems, data and digital technologies.
• Analytical mindset with a logical and structured approach to problem solving.
• Curious and proactive, with a willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Good level of written and spoken English.
