Generali in Lombardy seeks an IT Finance Management Expert to lead IT budgeting, forecasting and cost control, aligning IT investments with business goals and regulatory requirements. You will partner with the CFO team and IT providers to ensure accurate reporting and timely decision-support.

You will manage end-to-end relationships with information providers, negotiate contracts, monitor procurement, and provide Top Management with clear financial insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years total experience in the insurance market.
• Strong negotiation skills with external vendors.
• Solid IT Finance management expertise, especially on IT cost estimation and IT budget monitoring.
• Acquired knowledge and practical use of SAP systems is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent professional English (C1 Advanced).

Responsabilités

• Manage the IT budget and forecasts to monitor costs, ensure accuracy, and support business planning and decision‑making related to initiatives with an IT impact.
• Manage the end-to-end relationship with information providers, ensuring the company is equipped with the required tools while maintaining full regulatory and contractual compliance.
• Provide up-to-date reporting and supporting materials to the Top Management (e.g. CFO team), with the aim of enabling and supporting key strategic and operational activities.
• IT finance management: collect and assess IT run and change cost estimates aligned with GHO functions’ needs and the CFO spending target; manage the IT budget by monitoring expenses, updating forecasts, and ensuring compliance with approved limits; supervise the purchase request and procurement approval processes, ensuring compliance with budget limits and timely execution; support clear communication with Top Management for aligned decision-making.
• Info providers management: collaborate with Head Office functions as well as IT services internal teams to gather, assess, and formalize their needs and requests; manage end-to-end relationships with information providers, covering negotiation, contract management, and renewals; ensure tools and data services effectively support business needs while maintaining full compliance with regulatory frameworks, internal policies, and contractual obligations; supervise the purchase request and procurement approval processes, ensuring compliance with budget limits and timely execution; support clear communication with Top Management for aligned decision-making.
