Job Summary

We’re looking for a motivated professional to cover the position of IT Digital Manufacturing Specialist to support the implementation, integration, and ongoing enhancement of digital solutions dedicated to Kedrion pharma Production, Quality, and MS&D operations.

The IT Digital Manufacturing Specialist operates within the IT Department and will be responsible for supporting the definition and execution of our company's digital strategy for Operations business area, leading cross‑functional initiatives and facilitating the organization’s adoption of innovative technologies. The job owner contributes to the identification of opportunities, to the modernization of processes based on a Data‑Driven approach, ensuring alignment with Global IT objectives and collaborating closely with all internal and external stakeholders.

The position, in particular, takes charge of driving growth for Manufacturing Execution Systems and Manufacturing Operation Management (MOM), which will be essential in shaping the future of manufacturing and in delivering exceptional value to our Company, and of managing daily application support.

What you’ll do

• Proactively contribute to foster innovation and identify opportunities for new digital solutions I4.0 and assess new digital initiatives for feasibility, business value, and impact.
• Facilitate the digitalization of GMP processes within Manufacturing, QC laboratories, QA systems, and MS&D, while contributing to the technological roadmap for MES/MOM and Real‑Time Data Gathering projects.
• Work together with business functions and external suppliers to implement and improve essential digital platforms such as MES, MBR design, and the analysis of production processes, translating them into manufacturing automation logic.
• Architect and integrate end‑to‑end solutions involving MES and ensure compatibility with existing technologies.
• Collaborate to implement Real‑Time Data Tools and predictive tools (process monitoring, AI/ML models, real‑time dashboards).
• Translate business requirements into actionable IT solutions, providing technical guidance and leveraging extensive industry and product knowledge.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert in manufacturing IT for MES and Real‑Time Data Tools, managing systems lifecycles, including planning, deliverable management, timeline management and stakeholder communication.
• Proactively support the integration between IT and OT solutions.
• Collaborate with Global CSV Team for the validation of the implemented solutions.
• Guarantee the expected level of service and adapt the solutions to be proposed and implemented based on the required level, through corrective and adaptive actions from time to time.

Qualifications and need‑to‑know

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or STEM fields.
• 3+ years in Pharma / Biopharma, specializing in MES, complex projects, digitalization, and manufacturing technology.
• At least basic knowledge of LIMS, QMS.
• It is a plus, advanced skills in MES Werum Pas‑X and knowledge of Process Automation/DCS and data historians.
• Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11 and ISA‑95 standards.
• Professional English proficiency (B2+).
• Project Manager experience with project governance and performance monitoring; PMP certification is a plus.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and change management skills in regulated settings.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
