Atlas Copco in Italy is seeking a Software and Connectivity Engineer to develop controllers and connectivity systems from a software perspective. You will analyze data to understand machine behavior and provide insights to After Sales and Engineering teams.

The role involves programming controllers/PLC, developing software in C and PLC, and designing IoT sensor integrations for machine monitoring. Travel nationally/internationally may be required.

Competenze

• University degree in Computer Science, IT, electronic engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years in a manufacturing company.
• Proficient with SQL/Synapse Analytics/Power BI/Azure (≥3 years).
• Experience with C/C++ and Python; cloud/edge computing (≥3 years).
• Knowledge of IoT sensors and data processing (≥3 years).
• Data analysis and optional machine learning experience.

Mansioni

• Program controllers and PLCs.
• Develop and maintain software solutions using C and PLC; Python is a plus.
• Design, integrate and validate IoT sensors and connectivity technologies for monitoring and data collection.
• Implement signal acquisition, processing and analysis from connected devices.
• Analyze telematics data to identify behavior patterns and suggest improvements.
• Contribute to Azure-based solutions and cloud integration.
• Support data analytics and ML applications development.
• Collaborate on connectivity and digitalization projects across machines, cloud, and ERP systems.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to test, validate and improve products.
