AVL Italia S.p.A. seeks an experienced PLC software engineer to design, test and commission industrial control systems for HVAC and thermofluid applications in automotive testing and green tech sectors.

The role covers hardware interfaces, HMI/SCADA development, and communication with third-party systems, with travel to customer sites in Italy and abroad as needed. Strong Siemens TIA Portal knowledge and UX-focused UI design are desired.

Competenze

• 5+ years of PLC software design in industrial or automotive settings.
• Technical diploma or degree in CS, automation or related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, process control, thermodynamics.
• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal and PLC/HMI/SCADA development.

Mansioni

• Design core architecture of process control systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, drives and networks.
• Develop PLC software and HMI/SCADA interfaces with internal and partner teams.
• Perform commissioning and start-up at customer sites.
• Prepare final documentation and manuals for the control system.
• Deliver training to internal and end-user teams on the systems.
• Improve and update control systems with standardized, modular approaches.
