Job summary

Stefanini Group is seeking an IIoT Associate Engineer to join its Digital Engineering Team, contributing to cutting-edge control system architecture and digital engineering projects. You will work with internal customers, departments, and vendors to deliver impactful solutions.

A university degree in Computer Science and Engineering is essential; a master’s in Automation, Prototyping, and Robotics is highly desirable. Hybrid work setup in Italy; starting salary around 30,000 EUR gross per year.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science and Engineering required; master's in Automation/Robotics desirable.
• Hands-on experience with machine-to-machine and machine-to-system communication.
• Experience with IIoT solutions and vendor management.
• Familiarity with OPC UA, IT/OT networks, OT cybersecurity, and Computerized System Validation.
• Experience with OPC UA tools, MQTT Explorer, Grafana, Jira and Confluence.
• SCRUM/Agile methodology and project management skills advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery and deployment of digital engineering projects.
• Verify OEM deliverables at manufacturing equipment during FAT and CAT.
• Facilitate integration ofIIoT into existing IT systems for manufacturing.
• Ensure affiliate readiness in knowledge and infrastructure.
• Oversee the IIoT Gateway delivery process from order to installation on shop floor.
• Support affiliates in installation, commissioning, and IOQ activities for new IIoT projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery and deployment of transformative digital engineering projects.

Job Requirements

• Familiarity with OPC Unified Architecture, IT and OT networks, OT Cybersecurity, and Computerized System Validation.
• Experience with OPC UA tools, MQTT explorer, Grafana, Jira, Confluence, Remote Desktop, and M365.
• Experience with SCRUM, Agilemethodologyworkingexperience and project management skills areadvantageous
• Soft Skills: Communication skills, ability to manage your own agenda with minimal supervision
• Languages skills: Excellent verbal and written English skills

Work conditions

• Working hours: 40 working hours per week
• Contract type: Permanent
• Working setup (hybrid, on site, remote): Hybrid: 1/2 days from home

What we offer

• Salary starting with 30000 EUR gross/year, depending on seniority level.

The final salary offer will be determined based on gender-neutral, objective criteria, such as, but not limited to the experience and seniority level required for the role, as outlined in the job description. This will be further assessed during the technical interview.
