Job summary

Ferrari S.p.A. in Maranello is seeking an Inverter HW Design Specialist to drive hardware design, simulation and testing of inverter systems from requirements to board-level implementation, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a Master in Engineering, inverter simulation tools (MATLAB, PLECS, LTspice) and PCB layout experience using Altium; fluent English, Italian language skills are an advantage.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Engineering; inverter simulation and design knowledge required.
• Proficient reading schematics, datasheets and instrumentation; laboratory experience preferred.
• Fluent English; Italian language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and gathering technical requirements for inverter hardware development.
• Designing electronic circuits, including electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
• Performing functional and circuit-level simulations.
• Supporting the definition and implementation of test setups and test plans.
• Independently carrying out component-level tests in-house.
• Providing support during testing at external laboratories, at vehicle and component level.
