Job summary

Pirelli & C. S.p.A. in Lombardy is offering an internship in Warehouse Engineering & Contracts Logistics. You will work within the Supply Chain team to gain hands-on experience in tenders, contract definitions, and service start-ups.

The role emphasizes collaboration with suppliers, managing relationships to ensure service levels, and coordinating cross-functional project management while gaining exposure to warehouse operations and logistics challenges.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in management engineering or economics, preferably with specialization in Supply Chain Management.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Proficiency in using Office.

Responsibilities

• You will collaborate with your tutor in supporting the tenders process from identification of potential services supplier to definition of the specifications, contract definition, and start-up of the new service.
• Support in managing the relationship with the supplier to guarantee service level agreed in the contract.
• Support in assuring project management of the new services by integrating all involved functions and monitoring progress.
• Support local Logistics in managing the warehouse and distribution issues and monitoring service level against targets.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

You will collaborate with your tutor in:

• Support in managing the tenders process from the identification of the potential services supplier to the definition of the specifications, the contract definition, until the start‑up of the new service
• Support in managing the relationship with the supplier in order to guarantee the service level agreed in the contract
• Support in assuring the project management of the new services by integrating all the involved functions and monitoring the state of advancement
• Support the local Logistics in managing the warehouse and distribution issues and in monitoring the service level of the suppliers compared to the fixed targets
