Deutsche Bank in Turbigo is offering a 6-month internship within the Intragroup Agreement & Vendor Governance Team of the TDI division. The role focuses on understanding how AI supports the Bank’s needs and involves interaction with various divisions to identify process improvements.

Candidates should be undergraduate or graduate students in Data Science or Information Engineering with a B2 level of English. Monthly expense allowance and meal vouchers are provided.

Position Overview

The internship is within the Intragroup Agreement & Vendor Governance Team, part of the TDI division, responsible for managing technology partners and vendors for the Deutsche Bank Group in Italy.

Learning Objectives

• Understand how AI supports the Bank’s needs by interacting with the internal AI team, both locally and abroad, gaining insights into different perspectives and tasks.
• Apprehend how process optimisation works, including governance, stakeholder interactions, and technology mechanisms.
• Interact with different Divisions and Control Functions of the Bank to identify process improvements with the support of AI tools.
• Gain knowledge of how a complex financial organisation operates.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate student in Data Science or Information Engineering
• Understanding of AI/ML Fundamentals: knowledge of basic concepts in Machine Learning (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning)
• Understanding how to monitor the performance of AI models in production and how to iterate for improvement
• Data management/handling skills and data inventory and classification skills are appreciated
• Language: English B2

Start Date: July, 6‑month internship
