Adecco Italia is seeking a Modeling Tools & Support Developer to join the global modelling team in Torino. You will dive into Python programming and CAE methodologies to harmonize simulation tools across centers, contributing to the virtual design of tyres.

Under guidance, you will develop modelling tools, fix code bugs, and generate documentation while collaborating with testing, materials, and processes teams to deliver robust, scalable software for advanced tyre design.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Mathematical / Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering preferred.
• Programming experience with Python for automation of pre- and post-processing tools.
• Experience with Finite Elements simulations (implicit & explicit), preferably Abaqus in tire applications.
• Knowledge of non-relational databases (MongoDB).
• Proficiency with Linux (shell commands).
• Version control experience (Git, Gitlab).
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Demonstrates innovative, flexible approach and teamwork.

Mansioni

• Contribute to development of software tools to automate and industrialize simulations.
• Provide user support for simulation issues, including code bugs and HPC server behavior.
• Gather user feedback to improve tools.
• Perform code bug fixes and ongoing maintenance.
• Create release notes and user guides.

MODELING TOOLS&SUPPORT DEVELOPER DRIVE YOUR FUTURE Join the company Modelling team and play a pivotal role in advancing the virtual design of tyres, with a particular focus on Tools Development. From the start, you’ll be immersed in Python programming and CAE methodologies and collaborate with company's global technical centers to harmonize simulation tools and methodologies. Guided by your tutor, you’ll engage in diverse and challenging activities, from developing modelling tools, while contributing to innovative approaches that redefine the future of tyre design.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• Contribute to development of SW tools for automation and industrialization of simulations guaranteeing efficient use of HW and SW resources.
• Supporting users when facing issues related to simulations such as code bugs, HPC server unexpected behavior, poor FEA model quality, convergence.
• Gathering feedback from the users of the tools.
• Code bug fixing and continue maintenance and improvement.
• Generation of documentation (release notes, check lists, users’ guides) to support the correct use of the tools.
• Team working with other departments (testing, materials, processes….) whenever necessary.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Master’s degree in Mathematical / Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering is preferred.
• Background in the following areas (in priority order) would be beneficial:
  • Programming languages (preferably Python) for automation of pre- and post-processing tools
  • Finite Elements simulations (implicit & explicit, preferably Abaqus) ideally on tire applications
  • Non-relational database management systems (preferably MongoDB)
  • Linux (files management, shell commands)
  • Version control systems (Git, Gitlab)
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Be able to demonstrate an innovative and flexible approach and engagement in the new challenges expressed by a quick changing competitive scenario.
• Be open-minded and able to work in team.
• Be receptive and eager to help in order to provide high quality support to the other groups.
