Job purpose

The Programme Knowledge and Information Management Intern will support the Programme Division (PRG) in managing and enhancing its knowledge platforms and communication activities. This role involves assisting with the maintenance of the Programme Guidance Manual (PGM) Platform, ensuring content is accurate, well-formatted, and accessible. The intern will also contribute to communication efforts, including supporting the PRG webinar series, developing intranet content, and assisting with internal communications. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in knowledge management, information dissemination, and programme support within a leading global humanitarian organization, contributing to the effective delivery of WFP's mission.

Education

Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a recognized university, having completed at least two years of their undergraduate studies, or be a recent graduate (within six months). Proficiency in English is required, with knowledge of another UN official language being an asset. Candidates must have attended classes in their last 12 months of enrollment.

Work experience

This role is an internship. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (completed at least two years) or a graduate program, or be a recent graduate (within six months). Excellent written and spoken English is required. Proficiency in another official UN language is an asset.
