ABB is seeking an Inventory Planner for on-site work within the Distribution Solutions Division. You will manage end-to-end inventory planning, from sales in excess to invoicing, ensuring replenishment through purchase orders and supporting internal customer service inquiries.

The role emphasizes defining inventory policies, maintaining key parameters, and collaborating with operations buyers and suppliers to improve performance.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in management/industrial engineering.
• Proficiency in Excel is required.
• Knowledge of SAP is a significant plus; Power BI is a plus.

You will also showcase your expertise by setting inventory parameters and targets and ensuring adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders.The work model for the role is: on site.This role is contributing to the Distribution Solutions Division.You will be mainly accountable for:Defining inventory policies based on specified segmentation.Calculating and maintaining the inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies, in the planning systems and the ERPs.Coordinating material planning with call-offs to ensure that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders in collaboration with operations buyers and services.Collaborating with buyers to achieve the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, Minimum Order Quantity, quality, lead time, and flexibility.Qualifications for the roleEducation: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management Engineering or Industrial Engineering.Technical Skills: proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Knowledge of SAP is significant plus.Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.Languages: Ability to communicate fluently in both Italian and English.Soft Skills: A proactive mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.More about usJoin us.
