Job summary

Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. is offering a 6-month Internship in the Engineering Delivery Department in Bologna.

You will support asset strategy initiatives, assist with data quality in the SAM db, and help redeploy production assets across PMI affiliates. The role requires an Engineering, Business Administration, or Data Analytics degree, fluency in English and Italian, and solid Excel skills; Power BI is a plus.

Your Role

As an Intern you will be part of the Engineering Delivery Department at Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. and will be reporting to the Manager Asset Strategy. In this role, you will support global asset management initiatives aimed at maximizing utilization of our strategic production machines, enabling asset redeployment across PMI affiliates, and ensuring data quality and governance within the Strategic Asset Management database (SAM db).

What You'll Do

• Support maintenance and data quality activities within the Strategic Asset Management database (SAM db);
• Assist in reviewing, validating, and updating asset information received from PMI affiliates;
• Support the administration and tracking of Machine Reservations (MRs), Disposal Requests (DRs), and asset transfer activities;
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and data analyses related to asset utilization, redistribution opportunities, and asset lifecycle management;

Skills & Capabilities

• Degree in Engineering/Business Administration/Data Analytics or related fields;
• Literacy in Excel, Power BI is a plus ;
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;
• Fluency in English and in Italian is mandatory, and will be tested throughout the interview process.
