Job summary

Philip Morris Italia in Rome offers an IT Internship as part of the IMPACT - Italy Internship Program. You will join the IT Department and collaborate with architects, product owners, and technical teams to learn and contribute to digital solution initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, analyzing, and translating business requirements into digital solutions.
• Help design end-to-end solution architectures aligned with PMI standards and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and technical teams to evaluate options and prepare architecture artifacts.
• Contribute to definition and documentation of system integration flows, ensuring connectivity and architectural consistency.
• Assist with Agile project management to ensure continuous delivery and focus on outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance user experiences, and unlock value through digital capabilities.
• Proactively explore innovative solutions using agile methodologies and the digital ecosystem.
• Work with stakeholders to deliver solutions that create measurable impact.

YOUR ROLE

As an Intern, you will be part of the IT Department at Philip Morris Italia in Rome.

Join our Information Technology team and become part of a group where you can bring new ideas and learn about processes and solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Support the collection, analysis, and translation of business requirements into effective digital solutions across Consumer and Commercial domains.
• Support the design of end-to-end solution architectures, translating business needs into scalable, secure, and compliant IT solutions aligned with PMI technology standards and strategic roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and technical teams to evaluate solution options, prepare architecture artifacts, and support governance reviews and design discussions with Digital & IT stakeholders.
• Contribute to the definition and documentation of system integration flows, ensuring seamless connectivity between applications, platforms, and enterprise services while maintaining architectural consistency.
• Contribute to and manage projects using Agile methodologies, ensuring continuous delivery, adaptability, and focus on business outcomes.
• Identify the opportunities to improve processes, enhance user experiences, and unlock value through emerging technologies and digital capabilities.
• Proactively explore innovative solutions, leveraging agile methodologies and the broader digital ecosystem to address business challenges.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to deliver solutions that create measurable impact.
