Job summary

DHL Express Italy is seeking an HR Health & Safety intern for the Peschiera Borromeo (MI) location. This 6-month full-time internship includes an €800 gross monthly expense reimbursement and meal vouchers.

The role supports the tutor across risk assessment, health surveillance, training coordination, and documentation management. The ideal candidate has a passion for Health & Safety, strong communication, and proficient Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications

• Interest and passion for Health & Safety field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel and PowerPoint required.
• Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in risk assessment and health and safety governance.
• Support organization of health surveillance activities.
• Assist with organization and monitoring of mandatory training on health and safety.
• Archive and manage documentary evidence for H&S.
• Update H&S procedures and operating instructions; contribute to communications.
• Prepare reports, KPIs and presentations related to H&S performance.
• Contribute to awareness campaigns to promote safety culture.

DHL Express Italy, a leading global company in the field of express transportation and logistics services, part of DHL Group, awarded Great Place To Work, is looking for Human Resources - HR Health & Safety Internship at its Peschiera Borromeo (MI) location.

WHAT WE OFFER?

WHAT WILL YOU BE IN CHARGE OF?

You will support the company tutor in the following activities:

• Risk assessment
• Organization of health surveillance
• Organization and monitoring of mandatory health and safety training activities
• Archiving and management of documentary evidence
• Updating H&S procedures, operating instructions, and communications
• Preparation of reports, KPIs, and presentations related to H&S performance
• Organization of awareness campaigns and initiatives to promote a safety culture

YOUR PROFILE

With a strong interest and passion for the Health & Safety field, interpersonal skills, good communication abilities, and a solid knowledge of the Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of Power BI will be considered a plus.

Nice to have:

• A diploma or degree in technical/scientific disciplines. Having completed training courses or a master's degree in health and safety will be considered a preferential qualification.
• Intermediate knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel nationwide for training activities (owning a car is not required).
