Saipem Internship in Estimating and Construction Methodologies supports the Sustainable Infrastructures Tendering Department. You will help prepare cost-related documentation, analyze tender documents, and support bid preparations within time and quality procedures.

The role emphasizes cost estimating, constructability activities, and cash flow for bids, with a hybrid working model and a €900 monthly allowance.

Competenze

• Master's or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Fluent English (B2) with strong written and oral communication.
• Advanced use of MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Mansioni

• Analyze Tender Documents, study scope of work, project schedule and specifications.
• Develop cost estimates for activities, staff, equipment, assets and subcontracts.

Purpose of the position: As Estimating and Construction Methodologies internyou will respond to the head of Sustainable Infrastructures Tendering Department and be part of the Sustainable Infrastructures Business Line.

As part of the Tendering Department, you will assist and support the Team in preparation of cost-related documentation including the one to be submitted with the Bid, in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders requirements, within time and cost constraints in observance of internal Quality procedures and practices.

How can you support us?

• Analyze the Tender Documents provided by Client and study scope of work, project schedule, technical specifications and Client’s requirements.
• Develop the cost estimate of project activities and services, including staff, manpower, construction equipment/consumables, assets, plant materials and subcontracts.
• Analyze the Vendors quotation to be included in the bid cost estimate.
• Develop accurate cost analysis for construction works.
• Implement the constructability activities as required (e.g. in the definition of most appropriate erection methods, fabrication/construction sequences, layouts, pre-fabrication strategies, etc.)
• Prepare the bid price sheet and the preliminary project cash flow for internal use.

What are we looking for?

Education: Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in: Civil Engineering or other scientific education backgrounds

Languages: English fluent (B2); strong written and oral communication capabilities.

Technical Knowledge: advanced use of Office suite: Word, PowerPoint and Excel
