Job summary

Henkel Adhesive Technologies Italy in Casarile, Lombardy seeks an Internship as Process Engineering Assistant. You will support process and automation technologies, assist in trials, collect data and analyze performance within a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates are Chemical Engineering students or graduates with an analytical mindset and an interest in automation tools, CAD, and cross-functional teamwork. English and Italian fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Student or graduate in Chemical Engineering or similar field.
• Strong analytical mindset with interest in chemical processes and automation.
• Interest in engineering tools and CAD; eager to gain hands-on experience.
• Curious, proactive, and collaborative in cross-functional environments.
• Excellent knowledge of English and Italian is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation, testing and implementation of process and automation technologies.
• Assist in process trials, data collection, and analysis to assess performance and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D, Maintenance, Automation, Quality and SHE to integrate new technologies.
• Contribute to process optimization, automation, and digitalization initiatives to improve reliability, efficiency, quality and safety.
• Support standardization of new technologies and operating practices, including documentation and procedures.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement activities.
• Support activities related to the SHEQ management system and applicable quality, environmental, health and safety standards.
