Renesas Electronics is expanding its Design Center in Catania and seeks a Senior Validation Engineer to verify analog, digital and mixed-signal ICs against stringent specs.

You will develop advanced lab test setups, automate measurements with Python, and support NPI from first silicon through production while collaborating with global Design, Applications, Firmware, and Quality teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent English communication and occasional international travel are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on bench validation and debugging of mixed-signal or power management ICs.
• Strong lab skills with oscilloscope, power supplies, loads, meters, and analyzers.
• Proficient Python programming for lab automation and data acquisition.
• Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) from first silicon through production.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across international teams.

Aufgaben

• Validate analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power management ICs against specifications.
• Define validation methodologies, plans, and ensure feature coverage.
• Design and optimize laboratory test setups for silicon evaluation.
• Develop custom evaluation boards and supporting hardware.
• Develop automated validation frameworks and measurement scripts using Python.
• Perform data analysis, report generation, and milestone tracking.
