UBS is seeking a Mandate Specialist Intern in Milan to support discretionary mandates and alternative investments for UBS Wealth Management clients in Italy. You will collaborate with Client Advisors, learn portfolio construction, investment processes and product knowledge in a fast‑paced, international setting.

You will develop analytical skills, contribute to market research, prepare materials, and update dashboards while using MS Office tools.

Competenze

• Pursuing or recently completed Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented and fast‑paced environment.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

We are looking for a Mandate Specialist Intern to support our team in delivering investment solutions to UBS Wealth Management clients in Italy.

Responsibilities

As a Mandate Specialist Intern, you will support the team in a variety of activities related to discretionary mandates and alternative investments. Your responsibilities may include:

• Coordinate the monthly review and publication of after-sales materials and support the distribution of investment-related communications.
• Prepare and update sales and aftersales marketing materials and presentations for internal and client use.
• Support Client Advisors by providing product-specific information, education and updates on investment solutions and investment processes.
• Update business monitoring tools, dashboards and analytical reports to support team activities and business development initiatives.
• Monitor daily CIO research and market insights, identifying and sharing the most relevant content with main stakeholders.

Your team

You will work within the Mandate Specialists Team in Milan, part of the Advisory & Sales Italy Domestic organization within Global Wealth Management EMEA. The team is responsible for supporting Client Advisors and Clients with Discretionary mandates and Alternative Investment solutions. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and gain practical exposure to the wealth management industry, investment products, portfolio construction and client servicing activities.

Your expertise

• Genuine interest in Wealth Management, Portfolio Management and Investment Solutions, including Alternatives (Hedge Funds and Private Markets)
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
