JSS is seeking an experienced Head of Controlling to lead the finance function at its Nichelino-based operations in Northern Italy during a period of transition. The role focuses on industrial controlling, product costing, inventory valuation and performance analysis across two manufacturing sites.

The successful candidate will bring hands‑on financial leadership, strong costing capabilities, and proven business partnering skills to drive budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.

A leading international manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Head of Controlling to support its finance function based in Nichelino during a period of transition. This is a hands-on operational finance role supporting two manufacturing sites, with a particular focus on industrial controlling, product costing, inventory management and performance analysis. This role will suit an experienced Plant Controller, Industrial Controller or Head of Controlling with a strong manufacturing background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing performance reporting and analysis
• Product costing and production cost analysis
• Cost centre reporting and variance analysis
• Inventory analysis, valuation and stock movement reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting activities
• Monthly management reporting
• Business performance reviews and KPI tracking
• Supporting operational decision-making through financial insight
• Business Partner with stakeholders across the business, including Plant leadership teams, Operations, Accounting and Finance

Candidate Profile:

• Fluent Italian and English
• Significant experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong industrial / plant controlling expertise
• Proven product costing and standard costing experience
• Strong knowledge of inventory reporting and valuation
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations and production teams
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and reporting capabilities
• Excellent business partnering skills
• Confidence operating within a factory-based environment
• Immediately available

Sites & Travel:

The role supports two manufacturing locations within Northern Italy. Requirements include:

• Primary presence at the main manufacturing site
• Regular travel to a second production facility
• Strong engagement with operational stakeholders across both locations
