Our client in Brescia, Italy, seeks an Industrial Controller to partner with Operations and Finance, driving strategic and operational decisions through data-driven analysis.

You will monitor KPIs, manage cost accounting, support month-end closes, budgeting, and investment evaluations, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.

Competenze

• 3–7 years of experience in Industrial Controlling, Plant Controlling, Cost Accounting, or Manufacturing Finance.
• Strong knowledge of industrial costing, inventory accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP familiarity (SAP/Navision/Dynamics/Oracle).

• Monitor and analyze industrial performance KPIs, production efficiency and profitability.
• Prepare monthly management reporting and variance analyses vs budget/forecast.
• Support month-end closing for production costs, inventory and overheads.
• Analyze standard vs actual costs and production variances for improvement.
• Monitor inventory valuation, stock movements, provisions and slow-moving inventory.
• Partner with Production, Supply Chain, Purchasing and Engineering for data-driven decisions.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Track CAPEX projects and evaluate investment performance.
• Perform profitability analyses by product line, customer, plant or BU.
• Develop reporting tools and dashboards for operational visibility.
• Participate in CI initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and group reporting.

Our client is a well-established manufacturing company operating in an international environment. Driven by innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement, the company is seeking an Industrial Controller who will act as a key business partner to Operations and Finance, supporting strategic and operational decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze industrial performance KPIs, production efficiency, and operational profitability.
• Prepare monthly management reporting packages and variance analyses versus budget and forecast.
• Support month-end closing activities related to production costs, inventory, and manufacturing overheads.
• Analyze standard costs, actual costs, and production variances, identifying areas for improvement.
• Monitor inventory valuation, stock movements, provisions, and slow-moving inventory.
• Partner with Production, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Engineering teams to support business decisions through data-driven analysis.
• Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting exercises.
• Track CAPEX projects and evaluate investment performance.
• Perform profitability analyses by product line, customer, plant, or business unit.
• Develop reporting tools and dashboards to enhance operational visibility and decision-making.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity and reducing costs.
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies and Group reporting requirements.

Your Profile

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Management Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in Industrial Controlling, Plant Controlling, Cost Accounting, or Manufacturing Finance.
• Strong knowledge of industrial costing, inventory accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Navision, Dynamics, Oracle or similar).
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with both finance and operational stakeholders.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

City: Brescia

Salary Package: CCNL Metalmeccanico b2/b3, GAS 45.000€ - 55.000€.
