Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Agordo (BL) seeks an Intercompany Accountant to manage IC flows, post JEs, and drive automation across global processes. You will collaborate with cross-country teams in a fast-growing GBS environment, ensuring accurate reconciliations and timely month-end close.

Minimum 1 year in multinational accounting, strong ERP and Excel skills, and proactive process improvement mindset are requested; English fluency is required, additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience in multinational contexts.
• Knowledge of intercompany reconciliation.
• Strong Excel and ERP experience.

Your role

We are looking for an Intercompany Accountant who will take a pivotal role in managing and overseeing intercompany accounting activities, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements. You will be part of an international team based in the Global Business Services department located in Agordo (BL), contributing to a young, dynamic, and rapidly growing environment that fosters innovation and collaboration. Main responsibilities:

• Manage intercompany (IC) flows, including recording of journal entries (JE) and Account Payable IC postings.
• Oversee, propose and enhance automated IC processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Design and implement new IC flows in response to evolving business needs.
• Prepare and approve account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Complete month-end close activities, maintaining tight deadlines and high standards.
• Oversee consolidated financial statement reconciliations at the intercompany level.
• Contribute to audits and provide relevant documentation as needed.

Main requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting in multinational companies or consulting.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and intercompany reconciliation.
• General experience with Financial ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle HFM) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and cross-country teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• A proactive approach to process improvement and automation.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
